Nirvana
The old pier at Nirvana has suffered greatly from the elements in the Caribbean.
By 2022, the pier was structurally unsafe and could no longer be safely accessed.
Process:
COW Caribe dismantled and removed the entire structure, with the exception of the piles.
The foundation piles were reused for the steel transfer piles and filled with special underwater concrete.
The entire steel structure was manufactured in the Netherlands and finished with a 3-layer C5M offshore coating.
The hardwood also comes from a certified Dutch supplier.
After installing the transfer piles, the entire steel structure was mounted on them, and the woodwork was professionally installed.
With regular maintenance, it will provide decades of enjoyment.
