The main pier of Buddy Dive Resort underwent major maintenance this year. Even structurally solid piers require periodic maintenance.
During the works, we established that hot-dip galvanising the steel structure before applying the C5M coating is a valuable investment at the start of the process.
Damage to the coating can lead to corrosion, but the underlying zinc layer helps prevent the corrosion from spreading further beneath the coating.
